Ratib joined the firm in 2018. Ratib has a mixed practice in insurance defence and personal injury. Ratib has experience conducting trials on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria. Ratib has volunteered at Access Pro Bono and assisted clients with criminal, employment, and contract matters in legal clinics in Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria. Ratib is also a trial supervising lawyer for UBC Law Students Legal Advice Program.
Prior to obtaining a law degree, Ratib completed his Bachelor’s of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of British Columbia. Ratib conducted research in biochemical laboratories, published in a scientific journal, and gave educational presentations on medical research to the public. Ratib resides in North Vancouver with his wife. In his spare time, Ratib enjoys playing tennis and eating dessert. |
